Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials and components against specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using various measurement tools and techniques.
- Verify supplier documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and material certifications.
- Identify, document, and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, logs, and databases.
- Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve incoming material discrepancies.
- Operate and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools such such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and non-conformance reporting processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify material defects or discrepancies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with specific CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
- Basic understanding of material science (e.g., metallurgy, plastics).
- Knowledge of IPC standards for electronic components inspection.
