Salary Range: $84,000 - $118,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality standards for incoming materials and components.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and manufacturing processes.
• Manage supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and track their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including PPAPs and First Article Inspections.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide regular feedback.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure supplier readiness.
• Investigate and resolve non-conforming material issues from suppliers.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective action processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management.
• Experience with statistical analysis software and data interpretation for quality improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
• - Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) software and its application.
• - Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• - Experience with supplier development programs and initiatives.
• - Knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP) methodologies.
