Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts and customer orders.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure the feasibility and optimize utilization of production resources.
• Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into actionable production plans.
• Monitor production performance against the schedule and make necessary adjustments to meet delivery targets.
• Collaborate with sales, production, procurement, and logistics to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Analyze inventory levels and production lead times to optimize material flow and minimize holding costs.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks to maintain production efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for demand planning and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize production plans and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across departments and manage stakeholder expectations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel modeling
• Experience with specialized Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) software
• APICS CSCP certification
