Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews with R&D.
• Develop, optimize, and document robust manufacturing processes for new products.
• Specify, procure, and qualify new production equipment and tooling.
• Execute pilot production builds, analyze results, and implement process improvements.
• Define and implement quality control plans, including test methods and inspection criteria.
• Create and maintain essential manufacturing documentation, such as BOMs and work instructions.
• Drive yield improvement and cost reduction initiatives during the NPI phase.
• Facilitate the seamless transfer of new products to mass production teams.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical).
• 3-5 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or product launch within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding and application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proven experience with manufacturing process development, validation (e.g., IQ/OQ/PQ), and tooling design.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage NPI projects from pilot to full-scale production.
• Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with ERP/MES systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD)
• Experience with specific MES/ERP system integration for production ramp-up
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
