Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing presses according to job specifications.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products, ensuring efficient material flow.
• Perform in-process quality checks and inspect parts for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or production issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating industrial presses (e.g., hydraulic, mechanical, stamping).
• Demonstrated ability to perform press setup, die changes, and tooling adjustments.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor maintenance.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance or minor machine repairs.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Prior experience with CNC machine operation or programming.
