EHS Manager | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs and procedures.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to employees and contractors.
• Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics, analyze trends, and report to management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with advanced environmental permitting (e.g., Title V air permits, NPDES)
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive ergonomics programs
