Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cost accounting, including standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control procedures.
• Analyze production costs, efficiencies, and profitability, providing actionable insights to operations.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to improve operational performance and cost reduction.
• Provide financial leadership and support to the plant management team.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, budgeting, and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Advanced proficiency with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for data analytics and dashboard development.
• Experience with M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
• Proven track record in optimizing inventory management and supply chain finance processes.
