Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, skilled trades, and administrative roles.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with labor laws and manufacturing safety regulations.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes, ensuring competitive and equitable practices.
  • Lead performance management initiatives, including appraisals, goal setting, and talent development programs for the manufacturing workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA and other manufacturing-specific regulations.
  • Drive HR strategic initiatives to support operational goals and foster a positive, productive work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in a dedicated HR role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in labor relations, employee engagement, and conflict resolution specific to a production workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations, relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies for skilled and hourly manufacturing positions.
  • Experience partnering with plant operations leadership to drive HR initiatives that support production goals and a safety-first culture.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification or strong knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) relevant to a diverse manufacturing workforce.
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with specific manufacturing HRIS systems or timekeeping solutions (e.g., Kronos, UKG).
