Salary Range: $82,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Oversee employee relations, including grievance handling, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution within a manufacturing setting.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll processes, ensuring competitive wage structures for hourly and salaried employees.
- Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development plans for all staff.
- Coordinate and facilitate mandatory safety training programs and other skill development initiatives for the manufacturing workforce.
- Drive workforce planning initiatives, focusing on talent retention, succession planning, and addressing absenteeism.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR management experience, with a significant portion in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws (e.g., OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, NLRB) relevant to manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex employee relations, conflict resolution, and ideally, union relations or collective bargaining.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with an ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience supporting a unionized workforce in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages prevalent in the local manufacturing workforce.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or direct involvement in manufacturing safety program management.
