Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, fixtures, and dies for various manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and verify setup accuracy to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, or material feed problems.
• Optimize machine parameters and settings for efficient production runs and waste reduction.
• Execute test runs and make necessary fine-tune adjustments to achieve desired product specifications.
• Document setup procedures, machine settings, and maintenance activities for future reference.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for manufacturing equipment and processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software or machine-specific programming languages.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Basic electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience with preventative maintenance (PM) schedules or systems.
