Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process, equipment, and quality.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Apply Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and specify new manufacturing technologies and equipment for capital investment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for tooling, fixture, and process layout design.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, welding, automation).
• Experience with DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability/Assembly) and root cause analysis.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process optimizations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Power BI)
• Hands-on experience with robotics programming or advanced automation systems (e.g., PLCs)
• Experience with additive manufacturing processes or other emerging manufacturing technologies
• Fluency in a second language relevant to international operations or supply chain partners
