Production Manager | Norton Shores, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Norton Shores seeking Production Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
• Monitor production performance and metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Manage and mentor production staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control systems (e.g., ERP/MRP).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop production teams, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• PMP or other project management certification
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
