Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions monthly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production data to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to established deadlines.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP systems)
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis
