Shop Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Shop Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
• Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
• Manage and mentor shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Optimize workflow processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with supply chain and engineering to resolve production issues.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role
• Proven ability to manage a team effectively
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols
• Experience with inventory management and production scheduling
• Proficiency in using shop management software or similar systems
