Salary Range: $83,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality improvement plans.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage supplier corrective actions and drive root cause analysis for non-conformances.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to qualify new suppliers and parts.
• Monitor and report on key supplier quality performance metrics.
• Support new product introduction by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, PPAP, SPC, 8D).
• Experience performing supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Strong data analysis skills, including Minitab proficiency and application of statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
