Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, verify, and record incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Organize and maintain the shipping and receiving areas for efficiency and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with production and sales to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, with current certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks required for material handling

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift, including relevant certifications.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting.
