Salary Range: $67,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Shop Foremans who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and production schedules.
• Supervise and train a team of manufacturing technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and production issues.
• Manage inventory of materials and tools, ensuring adequate supply.
• Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• Proven leadership ability, including experience supervising a team
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience with CAD software for reviewing designs or creating fixtures.
• Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior technicians.
