Quality Manager | Montague, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and manage internal and external audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Manage the calibration program for all measuring and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Train and mentor quality personnel and other staff on quality standards and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Demonstrated experience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality assurance tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive cultural change.
