Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of products for defects and non-conformances.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify product dimensions against specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including any deviations.
• Initiate and track non-conformance reports for out-of-spec materials or products.
• Conduct in-process and final product audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration records for inspection tools and equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification
• Experience with PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Proficiency in using a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
