Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Allegan that are seeking Quoting Specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers accurate, timely quotes to customers.
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, and production to gather necessary information for quotes.
• Analyzes customer specifications and blueprints to determine appropriate product solutions and costs.
• Utilizes CRM and ERP systems to manage quotes, pricing, and customer data.
• Negotiates pricing and terms with customers to secure orders while maintaining profitability.
• Identifies and recommends cost-saving alternatives and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitors market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive quoting strategies.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product lines, manufacturing capabilities, and industry standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quoting, estimating, or sales support role.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
