Quality Technician | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $40,000 - $63,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in St. Johns that are seeking skilled Quality Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products or processes.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot quality control equipment and gauges.
• Document and maintain accurate quality records, including inspection reports and test data.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for quality improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and root cause analysis
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
