Shipping & Receiving Clerk | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and preparing shipping documentation.
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders or sales orders, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain organized inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Package and label finished goods according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate department.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the shipping and receiving area.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical tasks associated with loading/unloading

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift with valid certification.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically SAP.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing materials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
