Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic cells and peripheral equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
• Optimize robot performance and cycle times through programming adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineers to test and validate new robotic applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years experience in industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and PLC ladder logic.
• Strong understanding of robotic programming, calibration, and teach pendant operations.
• Experience with vision systems, end-of-arm tooling, and sensor integration.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance on complex robotic systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance and inspection.
• Familiarity with various robot programming languages beyond teach pendant (e.g., Python, C++).
• PLC programming experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) for integrated system control.
• Demonstrated ability to train operators and junior technicians on robotic system operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) and their specific safety considerations.
