Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Charlotte that are seeking skilled Robotics Technicians. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
• Install and configure new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
• Program and re-program robot paths and logic for manufacturing tasks.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize robot performance and integrate new technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI configuration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robotic guidance or inspection.
• Proficiency in a high-level programming language (e.g., Python, C++) for scripting or data analysis related to robotics.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus TCP).
• Knowledge of collaborative robot (cobot) programming and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to train others on robotic operation or troubleshooting.
