Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Charlotte region seeking Quality Engineers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing process data to identify quality trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• Design and execute experiments to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product reliability.
• Train production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D, PPAP)
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSBB) preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.
