Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement new production methods, equipment, and tooling.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and materials to improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, with demonstrated experience in their application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes, materials, and equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
• Strong data analysis skills and experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
