Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the DeWitt region seeking Payroll Specialists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts.
• Administer timekeeping systems and resolve employee timecard issues.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and year-end reports (W-2s).
• Coordinate with HR on benefits deductions and new hire setup.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and deductions.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience processing payroll in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS and payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday).
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, including overtime and shift differentials specific to manufacturing.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
