Operations Manager | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $102,000 - $149,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Fremont that are seeking skilled Operations Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize processes.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and manufacturing personnel.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing principles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of implementing and optimizing lean manufacturing principles
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze production data, and drive continuous improvement
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
