Salary Range: $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to define packaging requirements and specifications.
• Optimize packaging designs for cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct packaging material testing and evaluate performance to ensure product protection and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications, bills of material, and other technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot packaging related issues on the production line and implement corrective actions.
• Research and evaluate new packaging technologies, materials, and equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for package design and prototyping.
• Familiarity with ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) testing protocols and equipment.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials and their applications.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) for performance tracking and optimization.
