Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Master Schedulers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering capacity constraints and material availability.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment on production plans and customer demand.
• Analyze production performance and adjust schedules as needed to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery targets.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust production schedules to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Implement and maintain scheduling tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Generate reports and key performance indicators to track scheduling adherence and identify areas for improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production planning or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain accurate production schedules in a dynamic environment.
