Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mattawan seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
• Implement and sustain Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM).
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for waste reduction.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and process optimization projects.
• Develop and deliver training programs on Lean principles and tools.
• Design and optimize facility layouts for improved workflow and efficiency.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvement progress.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, SMED) in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, A3).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and train at all levels of an organization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim).
• Proficiency in programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
• Demonstrated experience in leading or facilitating cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, robotics).
