Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste, bottlenecks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Design and implement optimized layouts, workflows, and standardized work instructions.
  • Train and mentor production teams on Lean principles and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of Lean initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Lean methodologies (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen) in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects with tangible results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and their optimization
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment
