Logistics Manager | St. Johns, MI

Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across St. Johns seeking Logistics Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material acquisition to finished product delivery.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control for manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to meet production schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
• Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement in logistics processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping, customs, and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly for inventory and warehouse management.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Certification in APICS CSCP or CLTD is a plus.
