Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking IT Systems Administrators who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the integrity and security of all IT systems and network infrastructure within manufacturing facilities.
• Administer and support critical manufacturing applications and databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for production lines, office environments, and shop floor systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies and operational needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on IT systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience managing and troubleshooting virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) networks.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies in an industrial setting.
