Salary Range: $99,000 - $146,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking IT Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all IT infrastructure and systems in the manufacturing facility.
• Manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and procurement for manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the IT support team, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement technology solutions that improve manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards for IT systems and data management.
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity planning for critical manufacturing IT systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and their integration with manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user support, across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) implementations or support.
• Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Certifications in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant project management or service management frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
