Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Hart that are seeking Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform setup, adjustment, and minor maintenance of presses and related equipment.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues to ensure continuous production.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably presses.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for machine setup and adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface interaction
• Ability to perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot common issues
• Prior experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
