Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate various presses according to specifications.
• Monitor press operations to ensure quality production and identify malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Interpret blueprints, job orders, and production schedules to determine setup requirements.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, pneumatic).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for minor machine adjustments and maintenance.
• Proven ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and machine interface.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance (e.g., lubrication, cleaning).
• Prior experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment.
