Salary Range: $57,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Portage that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical instruments and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to minimize downtime.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong working knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and power distribution systems (up to 480V).
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components on a variety of manufacturing equipment.
