Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking HR Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment and staffing processes for all manufacturing positions, from hourly to management.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development plans.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by collaborating with operations on health and safety initiatives and compliance.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices in a manufacturing context (e.g., OSHA, safety regulations, union avoidance/relations).
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support manufacturing operational goals.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics for workforce planning and reporting in a production setting.
  • Strong track record in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management within a diverse manufacturing workforce.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with workforce planning and succession planning in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish)
