Salary Range: $41,000 - $64,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grandville that are seeking Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems and maintain detailed records.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with various measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with data entry and analysis software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints (GD&T).
• Certification in quality inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).
