Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Oversee the accurate tracking and reporting of all inventory movement within the manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies and investigating root causes.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to production schedules.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow and prevent stockouts.
  • Implement and manage an effective system for identifying and disposing of obsolete or slow-moving inventory.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory control specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly for inventory management modules.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
