Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Oversee the accuracy of inventory records through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage and lead a team of inventory control specialists, providing training, performance feedback, and workflow management.
• Analyze inventory data, including turnover rates, slow-moving items, and obsolescence, to make informed purchasing and production decisions.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow and meet production schedules.
• Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems to improve tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, turns, and other relevant metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP system implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
