Inventory Control Manager | Zeeland, MI
Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Inventory Control Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Oversee the accuracy of inventory records through regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage and lead a team of inventory control specialists, providing training, performance feedback, and workflow management.
- Analyze inventory data, including turnover rates, slow-moving items, and obsolescence, to make informed purchasing and production decisions.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow and meet production schedules.
- Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems to improve tracking and reporting capabilities.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, turns, and other relevant metrics.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes and procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Experience with ERP system implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
