Salary Range: $53,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes for production runs.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using various measuring tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms and minor operational issues.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts, ensuring proper handling.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks and maintain a clean work area.
• Adjust offsets and tooling to maintain part specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss Lathes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Ability to perform in-process quality checks using various measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
• Experience with tool offsets and adjustments

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Background in quality control and inspection techniques (CMM, optical comparators).
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
