Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes, including tool changes and fixture adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms, tool wear, and minor programming issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Document production activities, quality checks, and machine parameters accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss Lathes (e.g., Star, Citizen, Tsugami).
• Demonstrated ability to perform in-process quality checks using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of various cutting tools, inserts, and their application for different materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make minor program adjustments (offsets, tool wear) to optimize production.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming.
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Forklift certification or experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality inspection tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparator).
