Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking EHS Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Provide EHS training and education to employees at all levels, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, including waste minimization, storage, and disposal, in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Oversee the facility's emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) in EHS programs.
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms for data management and reporting.
• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages relevant to the workforce.
