Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for all EHS-related incidents.
  • Manage hazardous waste programs, including waste characterization, disposal, and recordkeeping.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Oversee the management of industrial hygiene programs, including air monitoring and noise surveys.
  • Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through the development and tracking of key metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and systems.
  • Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the experience in training and incident investigation.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera).
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages relevant to the workforce.
