Salary Range: $49,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Sets up workpieces, electrodes, and fixtures according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitors EDM processes, adjusting parameters to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machines.
• Inspects finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintains accurate records of production, maintenance, and quality control.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precise measurements using various inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong understanding of EDM processes, including wire and sinker EDM, and their applications.
