Salary Range: $51,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in DeWitt that are seeking skilled EDM Operators. Key Responsibilities

• Program and set up Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Monitor EDM operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of EDM machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G-code for EDM operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the EDM process.
• Select appropriate electrodes, wire, and machining parameters for each job.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and surface finish.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for EDM operations.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM equipment.
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems for production tracking
• Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting for machinery
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data entry
