Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement CMM programs for dimensional inspection.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine measurement requirements.
• Select appropriate probes, fixtures, and measurement techniques for various part geometries.
• Perform first-article inspections and troubleshoot CMM program issues.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to optimize inspection processes.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document inspection results and create comprehensive reports.
• Provide training and support to CMM operators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in measurement.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D CAD models.
• Experience with various CMM hardware platforms and probe systems.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in CMM programming within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills for complex measurement challenges.
