Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations for accidents and near-misses, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Deliver EHS training programs to employees on topics such as LOTO, confined space, and hazard communication.
• Maintain and update EHS recordkeeping, including permits, inspections, and training documentation.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper disposal and compliance with all regulations.
• Participate in the design and review of new equipment and processes to incorporate EHS considerations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.
• 3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing safety training programs.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical EHS standards and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) for EHS metrics
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and their application to EHS
• Experience with environmental permitting and reporting requirements
